When you join MEAA, you will be sent a personalised electronic membership card by email. This card will be automatically updated each financial year while you remain a financial member of the union.
To install it on your smartphone, follow the instructions relevant to your device:
iOS Devices:
Your e-card will now be saved to your phone and accessible at any time through the Apple Wallet app.
Android Devices:
Your e-card will now be saved to your phone and accessible at any time through the WalletPasses app.
MEAA Media and FreelancePro members are able to request a physical card to use as additional accreditation in the course of their work. Contact MEAA Member Central on 1300 656 513 to request a plastic card.
There is space on both the electronic and plastic card for a passport style photograph. Contact Member Central to arrange to have a photo added to your card.
Media members must make themselves aware of the responsibilities that come with the card; there are sanctions for misuse of the card. Read more here.
