Simone Walters

I am a freelance bassoonist with a passion for historically informed approaches to music of the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries. My regular work includes engagements with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra, Australian Haydn Ensemble and Van Diemen's Band. I also enjoy discovering, researching and editing previously unknown historical manuscripts and presenting them to new audiences.
