Dre Ngatokorua

Dre Ngatokorua is of Wangkangurru, Adnyamathnha, Kuyani, Luridja, Deiri, Yankunytjatara, Cook Island and Maori decent. Dre is a broadcaster at Umeewarra media and aspiring DJ, he is the youngest member of the team and the host of the Straight Out Show. Dre started as a trainee in 2013 while he was at school as a volunteer and has rocked the studio ever since. His shows give focus to youth issues and voice to young people in the Port Augusta community. The Straight Out show was the proud organiser of Port Augusta’s first ever NAIDOC Colour run. Dre brings a younger focus to the team through his music selection and topic he covers – encouraging other young people to have a voice. Dre works across all the media fields at Umeewarra covering visual, audio, online, off site and live media.
