Today’s media reports of sexual harassment and assault at Ballarat’s iconic Sovereign Hill are deeply concerning and indicate an unsafe workplace culture that must change, says the union for workers at the tourist attraction.

Under MEAA’s rules, all members of MEAA’s Media section are bound by MEAA’s Journalist Code of Ethics which was first adopted in 1944.

MEAA’s National Ethics Committee consists of nine MEAA financial members and four members of the general public.

Anyone may write to MEAA alleging a MEAA journalist member has acted contrary to the Code.
