Women working in media in Queensland are cordially invited to the Brisbane launch of Women in Media, a new networking and mentoring initiative proudly supported by the Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance and the Walkley Foundation for Journalism.
Join us at the ABC Studios at Southbank, Brisbane for the official launch with WIM QLD’s Kay McGrath, WIM Mentors Karina Carvalho (ABC TV News Presenter), Madonna King (Columnist and Author) and Cathie Schnitzerling (Communications Director).
Our keynote speaker for the evening is Women in Media national patron Caroline Jones, of ABC Australian Story – a renowned, award-winning television journalist who joined the ABC 50 years ago this year.
