MEAA Equity Screen Agreements- July 2022

MEAA and SPA have recently agreed to a 4.6% increase to rates across MEAA Equity Screen Agreements (AFFCA, ATPA) as an ‘optional’ rate for all new productions. This is in line with the recent increases to the Award (BRECA), and as a way to make sure MEAA Agreements are kept well above award rates. The increase should amount to at least $50 per week for Performers and should ideally be paid by all new productions.

The following table outlines these increases as of July 1, 2022
