Gabrielle Ward

Gabrielle Ward (she/her) is a Melbourne based, Sydney born artist. After completing Music Theatre Foundation at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2018, she commenced studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). In her graduating year Gabrielle performed in a self-devised piece ‘Mongrel’, was dance captain/ensemble in ‘The Hello Girls’ (dir. Jason Langley and Leah Howard) and played Nickie in ‘Sweet Charity’ (dir. Jayde Kirchert). Gabrielle’s professional music theatre debut was as Jane Banks in ‘Mary Poppins’ (Cameron Mackintosh) Prior to VCA, Gabrielle graduated from Newtown Performing Arts specialising in acting and has trained in all styles of dance at The Glenda Yee School of Dance since 2002. Her TV credits include a featured segment on Disney Channel “A Guide To”, Kasey Chambers music video “The Rain”and various TVCS. Gabrielle is the proud recipient of the 2022 EQ Endeavours Graduate’s Guide scholarship, endorsed by MTI Australaisa.
