Copyright information for creators and publishers. The rights of creators are under threat. The Productivity Commission’s recent recommendation to introduce a US style ‘fair use’ copyright exception, among other proposed changes, could undermine one of the foundations of creativity and innovation in Australia.

We welcome you to attend our information session and panel discussion on the importance of copyright in cultivating Australian stories. The panel will discuss how recent changes to simplify the Copyright Act will work and what the Productivity Commission’s controversial recommendations on copyright could mean for Australia’s creative industries.
